Mariesa+Brian | Miami Wedding Photography

Mariesa+Brian’s wedding day started raining and I was concerned about all the things that we had planned like the fist look and the full hour Mariesa+Brian were giving me to do creative portraits. All these portraits were schedule to be done outside, using beautiful natural light. Of course I had a plan B, but I didn’t want to go there and I have to admit I was a bit sad.  I sat in silence looking out the window praying for mother nature to cut me some slack and give me at least half an hour of dry skies, then I got ready and headed to the hotel to meet my bride and groom. By the time I left the rain was pouring even harder.

Once I got to the hotel I went straight to meet Brian and his boys, and take some images of them getting ready.

This is what I saw there…

Then I headed to Mariesa’s room. The rain was stopping and at that point I knew mother nature, today, was on my side:)

Words will never be enough to tell you how grateful I am for having you in my life. You were my very first client, a complete stranger that trusted me when I told you that I was a professional photographer and that I wanted to photograph your children. You and your family were kind and generous to me, and showed me so much love and appreciation for my art.  Seeing my images hanging on your wall reassured me that I was born to do what I do. Not only were you guys absolutely amazing to hire me once, but I had the pleasure of working with you several times during that year. Meeting your dad and capturing his joy around his grand kids was a very important moment in my career and although his presence will always be missed, I am so happy you have those images to cherish them forever.

I am so happy to see your creativity, love and energy in this new project of yours. Little Miss Pepper will be a complete success! Your jewelry is amazing, classic and so personal. I am absolutely in love with the piece you sent me! How thoughtful of you to add my wedding date, my dog’s initial and a beautiful heart that reads “C&C”. Brian+Mary+Leo | Miami Baby Photographer

Brian+Mary+Leo are super awesome! I’ve met Mary months ago and I knew she was my kind of person: funny & straight to the point, plus we have several things in common like our love for other cultures and food:)  Being around Mary and Brian is always a good time, so when they hired me to photographed their brand new baby I was over the moon! It was a very amazing baby session.

This session was a celebration of Leo’s first months in this world. His grandparents came along and some other amazing props made it into the session, like his parents’ traveling gnome that has been a family tradition for years, an uber cool dragon(becuase Leo was born in the Year of the Dragon) and Mary even read to Leo paragraphs of the famous book The Art of War by Sun Tzu.
