I love Saturdays, well I love any day I can go out on my bicycle with my husband Chris and just enjoy a ride around the city(and scouting locations for future photo sessions). Lately Chris have shown an interest for photography and since I have two cameras,Lupe & Mark, I let him use one. I am a nice wife, right?

I am uber excited about the holiday season! Yes, I know it’s just the end of August, but time flies and before you know it you are going to be super busy with decorations, holiday parties and shopping, so it is better to plan ahead of time for your gorgeous and cool holiday session + holiday cards. Last week my friend Tracy, the Creative Director of Academy of Glam, asked me to be a guest photographer for a make up competition. The Make up artists were doing some amazing make up on the dancers of Masala Middle Eastern Dance Fusion (Check them out they do some awesome performances! Imagine having them at your event, how COOL would that be?). Although, I photographed all the beautiful ladies that are part of this troop, Erin, the co-director, was my very favorite (Don’t get me wrong, all of them are absolutely nice, but I just LOVE LOVE Erin’s costume).

I am super excited to blog about these two cuties! I met Vikki, their mom, years ago and from the first day we worked together we became good friends; she even made me the BEST pork lumpia I have ever had (hint, hint vikkisilla, I am ready to have some more!). Then she got married and I used to say to her that her future kids would be absolutely gorgeous…well I think I may be a clairvoyant, just take a look, aren’t they ADORABLE?

Do you remember Max & Mattie? I have photographed these two cuties four times in the past three years and I feel very lucky to be chosen by their parents over and over again. M&M are very dear to my heart, you see, they are not only cute, funny, respectful and just gorgeous, but most importantly they are extremely kind and always welcome me with a huge hug and a kiss! Not only that, but they were the very first kids I photographed. Our first photo shoot was a joy despite the hot weather and they made me feel so comfortable doing my job that I knew I was in the right path! Max & Mattie THANK YOU for showing me that I was meant to be a family photographer!
Last week M&M and his parents moved to Texas. I am super happy for them and all the new great things that will come their way, but I am sure I am going to miss this pair.
Goodbyes are for now and not for ever, so until next time bambinos (hopefully will be very soon!) and please don’t grow up so fast!
