This Miami destination wedding at the Palms Hotel is what dreams are made of! Nicki + Aaron came south from Chicago to celebrate their love and commitment to each other with family and friends.

Although this duo used to work together in a restaurant in Chicago, it was only during a work trip to the Miami Food & Wine Festival that they truly connected. After a few short months, they started dating, so when it was time to plan their wedding it was only natural to tie the knot where it all began!

There are so many things I adore about this Miami destination wedding! Other than the simple, yet stunning aesthetics of their decoration, what truly stood up was how relaxed and calm Nicki + Aaron were; the whole day they were having the best time!

Talking about aesthetics I love the white jacket tux that Aaron and his buddies wore, tropical chic at its best! Nicki’s dress and the different styles and colors of the bridesmaids were also spectacular. But what truly caught my eye was the flamingo invitation! Love, Love, Love all around!

When I asked them what was the most memorable part of their wedding day, Nicki said they had two favorites: the weather being the most beautiful night after uncertainty during the early hours of the day and Nicki’s cousin singing La Vie en Rose during their cake cutting.

Nicki also has some great advice for future couples: “Do a first look! It calmed our nerves, offered us more time to mingle, and set a wonderful excited mood before the ceremony”
