David and Pablo’s Miami wedding at the Spanish Monastery was one for the books—a joyful, fashion-forward celebration their guests won’t soon forget.
The couple first said “I do” in an intimate Caribbean micro-wedding, honoring Pablo’s wish for something small and meaningful. But David had a different dream: a big, unforgettable party surrounded by loved ones, filled with dancing, style, and energy—and this Miami celebration was his vision come to life: chic, bold, and full of heart.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding with European vibes, historic charm, and complete privacy, the Ancient Spanish Monastery checks every box. Here’s how David and Pablo made it their own.

The Couple & Their Style:
At first glance, it’s clear David and Pablo are fabulous—but spend a moment with them, and you’ll see: these two have presence. Both are incredibly charismatic, with David bringing bold, joyful energy, and Pablo offering a more reserved but equally magnetic charm.
David wore a stunning Alexander McQueen suit embroidered with floral details and classic Versace loafers. Pablo turned heads in a Louis Vuitton suit, finished with a pair of Christian Louboutins. From head to toe, the style was impeccable—elevated, expressive, and completely their own.

Spanish Monastery Wedding Reception
The Ancient Spanish Monastery, located at 16711 W Dixie Hwy, North Miami Beach, FL 33160, is a dream Miami wedding venue for couples seeking European-style wedding aesthetics and total privacy, right in the heart of North Miami Beach.
The monastery sits on 20 acres of lush grounds, with gardens that are perfect for portraits or cocktail hour. But the real showstopper? The cloister. It’s grand, serene, and completely enclosed—ideal for an intimate celebration
Gigi Agresti from Events By Gigi planned the wedding to perfection. While the overall design was a collaboration with the couple, David and Pablo wanted the reception room to be a surprise on the big day. And the cloister made that possible—thanks to its layout, you couldn’t see a thing from the gardens.
The reception setup? Jaw-dropping. This space already has so much character with its towering arches and stone walls, but the design took it to the next level. Think modern glam meets timeless romance.
Long banquet tables were dressed in deep charcoal linens, paired with sleek black napkins and gold chairs for that perfect mix of bold and classic. The gold candelabras added just the right amount of old-world charm, while the white floral arrangements kept everything feeling fresh and lush. It was one of those setups where you walk in and immediately think: this is going to be a night to remember.

Couple’s Portraits Around The Gardens
The Spanish Monastery’s lush gardens and historic cloisters make it one of the most photogenic wedding venues in Miami, perfect for timeless portraits and romantic first looks.
David and Pablo arrived before their guests to enjoy a quiet moment together and move through their portrait session with ease and privacy. A little rain showed up (classic Miami!), but it didn’t slow us down. We captured every photo they envisioned—on time, and with all the joy.

The Wedding Guests and Their Fashion
One of the things that makes a Spanish Monastery wedding in Miami so iconic? The dramatic backdrop is practically begging for bold, expressive fashion, and David and Pablo’s guests delivered.
These two knew they wanted their celebration to feel stylish, elevated, and fun. So they included a visual style guide on their wedding website, complete with outfit inspo to set the tone. From sleek suiting to editorial-level accessories, guests showed up and showed out.
Honestly? A brilliant idea. If you have a specific aesthetic in mind for your wedding day, a dress code mood board takes the pressure off your guests and ensures everyone’s aligned with your vision.
Because remember: this is your day. You get to set the tone—and yes, that includes how fabulous everyone looks.

The Perfect Night Entertainment for a Miami Wedding: Drag Show
Of course, you want the best band or DJ to keep the dance floor packed all night—but what if you added a little extra magic? In the past, couples have embraced Latin traditions like the Hora Loca, but let me tell you: a drag show takes wedding entertainment to a whole new level.
David and Pablo surprised their guests with not one, but three incredible drag performances. From voguing and high-energy choreography to splits that defied the laws of physics, the talent was unreal. The song choices? Perfection. The vibe? Off the charts.
After the last performance, the energy in the room was electric. If you’re looking to infuse your celebration with joy, artistry, and a little (okay, a lot) of drama—in the best way possible—I can’t recommend this enough.
