Frida Kahlo Inspired Wedding Ideas. Five ways couples can add color, creativity, & boldness to their wedding day:
If you are the type of couple that wants to add color and style to your wedding this Frida Kahlo inspired wedding ideas post is right for you!

What To Wear?
Whether you are wearing a dress or a suit you can add drama to your celebration with your choice of outfit. For this styled shoot, we chose a gorgeous fitted lace gown for our Frida.

This modern seductive wedding gown style (fitted see-through) with a touch of traditional elements like the high collar and long sleeves were the perfect look.

The blue Jacket suit for our Diego is an elegant look during any season, plus is the actual color of the house where Frida and Diego lived in Mexico.

Frida Kahlo Inspired Wedding Florals Ideas
Florals are the best accessory for any wedding, and if you want to go bold and colorful this is your chance!

Using a combination of different types of flowers and greenery will add a vibrant look to your wedding.
Since colorful flowers and greenery were already making a big statement, instead of adding a big bouquet to the mix, we chose to make a bold statement with a beautiful flower crown for our Frida.

Wedding Tablescape Ideas
Keep your aesthetics “homey” with a touch of the industry’s trending family-style combining different textures and patterns keeping it elegant and earthy.

For this Frida Kahlo inspired wedding we added colorful glass vases and desert plants to the table decor to get that eclectic and artful ambiance. To soften the look, the rustic wood table had a delicate lace runner.

One trend that I think is beautiful, is the mix-match table wear. You can choose to have a solid charger plate and play around with the plates and glasses.

Wedding Cake
Goodbye white, hello colors! We are now seeing more creativity in wedding cakes. Couples are choosing more vivid design elements for their cakes and dessert tables.

Our midnight blue cake was the perfect balance between bold style and elegance.
