Rustic Chic October Oaks Wedding

This October Oaks wedding was absolute perfect! Vanessa + Miguel met in middle school, but it wasn’t until they were in high school that they started dating!

Miguel is a romantic and he planned to ask Vanessa to be his girlfriend on Prom night, but he got a bit anxious and decided to ask her a couple of days before the big night on April 22, 2009.

6 years later, on Valentines day 2016 he proposed to Vanessa, and they tied the knot on April 22, 2017 – 8 years to the day he asked her to be his girlfriend.

My favorite part of this rustic chic October Oaks wedding was the first look! Vanessa was in love with all the big trees around this property, so I was able to find the perfect location for this moment to be super exclusive. We decided to have them face opposite directions with Miguel walking backwards until he reached Vanessa!

After some amazing romantic photos around the farm, we witnessed a gorgeous ceremony under a grand old oak tree! Their vows were deeply moving and there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd. There is so much love and admiration between these two that is impossible not to smile when you are in their presence.

After their beautiful ceremony the party started! I love the beautiful decoration and wonderful aesthetics of this event. The farm gave it a country style look while the beautiful florals and chic decor gave it a refined style.
