Classic Black Tie Wedding at The Rusty Pelican

Meet Olivia + Luke; they are Miami natives, and this classic black-tie wedding at the Rusty Pelican is perfect to describe this duo: Classic, yet fun!

They met at a house party in the Florida Keys, and after dating for a while, Luke proposed while vacationing in Jamaica.

Olivia chose the Rusty Pelican because of the magnificent views of the city, which was absolutely perfect for some romantic portraits!

One of my favorite moments of this wedding was the actual party! This duo + their friends know how to have a good time. The dance floor was packed, the D.J played some amazing music, and there was a confetti cannon! What else can one ask for? (You can see some of these images on the slideshow at the end of this post)

When I asked them what the most memorable part of their wedding day was, Olivia immediately said it was walking down the aisle and seeing her family and friends together witnessing her ceremony; it was all very emotional!

Olivia also has some great advice for future couples: “Don’t get too stressed over wedding planning – I know it’s almost impossible. Remember that the most important part of the wedding is the actual marriage”
