Thalatta Estate Wedding Guide
If you are looking to host a Thalatta Estate wedding, you are in the right place to get some information + inspiration as this is one of my very favorite venues in South Florida!
The Mediterranean estate is the perfect backdrop for an outdoor wedding and the garden overlooking the bay gives this location the perfect vibe for a garden wedding.
What I love the most about Thalatta Estate is that the property is big enough to host a large wedding, yet you can see the whole space from the villa.
This Miami Wedding Venue is the perfect location for couples that want to have a water view ceremony that’s private and without having to walk on sand.
Thalatta Wedding Details:
This Estate is located at 17301 Old Cutler Rd, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157
Thalatta Estate Wedding Cost:
The venue rental fee varies depending on a weekday vs weekend weddings. If you are planning a wedding on a Saturday for example, you need to rent out the whole Estate.
For weekday weddings you can choose from the different spaces the location offers: garden by the bay, garden lawn or terrace.
If your guest count is over 50 you are responsible for additional expenses like valet, security, and an additional parking lot fee.
HOW MANY GUESTS THE ESTATE CAN ACCOMMODATE?
Thalatta Estate can accommodate many size celebrations, from a very intimate wedding to up to 200 guests.
HOW MANY SPACES THE ESTATE OFFERS:
Thalatta Estate has three different spaces you can utilize for your wedding day. In addition, the Estate has two very comfortable suites, so you and your partner can get ready at the property.
The garden by the bay is the perfect location for your ceremony. As the view of the water is unobstructed. The Garden lawn is the perfect spot for your cocktail hour.
The outdoor terrace overlooking the Estate is the most romantic location for your reception.
The Estate doesn’t offer an indoor reception site. 95% of the event space is outdoors. If a rainy day is a concern, no problem, an event tent can be made available upon request.
Thalatta Estate works with some of the most amazing and talented vendors in South Florida and they provide a list of them to their couples.
If you want to work with your own vendors, you are more than welcome to do so, just keep in mind they need to have insurance and register with the Estate.
Any vendor that works at the Estate must present proof of insurance, sign an agreement form, and provide a check for the amount of $500.
Keep in mind that the check will only be used in the event of a vendor damaging the Estate.
AT WHAT TIME DOES THALATTA ESTATE CLOSE?
All parties at Thalatta Estate must end at 11 pm
