The Perfect Floral Arrangement in 4 Steps

I adore beautiful flowers, really who doesn’t? I love the life that they give to a room, the energy they bring to a space and just how amazing they make you feel.

With so many positive vibes that flowers have, I got together with my favorite floral designer in town – Vero, from Anthology Co. that is, to create a simple and fabulous DIY tutorial for all of you!  So go ahead and get ready to add some color, life and style to your house.

Supplies that you’ll need:

A vintage container or vase of your choice

Floral frog or wet floral foam (like Oasis)

Waterproof floral tape

Shears

Flowers:

Scented Geranium, Dhalias, Poppies, Clematis, Veronicas, Daffodils, Jasmine vines, Mums, Ranunculus &  Tanacetum

(For this arrangement we use all of the above, but you can add as many, or as little variety as your heart desires)

Let’s get to work, shall we?

Step 1:

Place a floral frog (or floral foam) at the bottom of the container. Use the waterproof floral tape to make a grid for the top of your container, this will help guide the flowers to a specific place.

Fill your container with fresh water a little more than half way.

Using greens and foliage, create an intertwined base inside of your container.

Continue to add some of your larger statement blooms.

Fill up some of the empty spaces with smaller flowers.

Spice up your arrangement with some dancing buds and/or thin stemmed flowers like Clematis, Daffodils, Veronicas, or Poppies.

Complete the look with pretty loose vines -go wild!
