The Estate is located in the Palmetto Bay area, approximately 20-25 minutes south of downtown Miami by car. It is conveniently reachable via major roads like US-1 (South Dixie Highway) or Old Cutler Road,
Deering Estate Wedding Cost:
The wedding venue rental fee at Deering Estate varies depending on whether you choose a weekday or weekend event. Additionally, a per-person fee applies if your guest count exceeds 250.
The estate offers two distinct rental packages:
- Historic Grounds and Outdoor Rental – This package includes access to the stunning outdoor areas.
- Historic Grounds, Outdoor Rentals, and Grand Hall Ballroom – This package provides access to the outdoor spaces as well as the Grand Hall Ballroom inside the Stone House.

How Many Spaces for Weddings Does Deering Estate Offer, and How Many Guests Can the Venue Accommodate?
Deering Estate offers three unique locations for weddings, each with its own charm and capacity:
The Grand Waterfront Lawn
Facing the beautiful bay, this expansive space is ideal for ceremonies or large receptions.
Guest Capacity: Up to 500 people seated.
The Historic Courtyard
Surrounded by lush gardens and the historic home, this enchanting space is perfect for an outdoor reception under the stars.
Guest Capacity: Up to 250 people seated.
The Great Hall Ballroom
Located inside the historic Stone House, this elegant space is available for up to two hours. It’s ideal for intimate ceremonies or cocktail hours.
Guest Capacity: Up to 60 people seated.
Keep in mind that the Estate does not offer a backup space in case of rain. I recommend keeping an eye on the weather forecast and arranging for a tent if necessary.
