Art Basel is hands-down one of the coolest weeks in Miami (if you can look past the traffic chaos)- and the perfect time for some cool Miami Engagement Photos. The city transforms as hundreds of artists arrive to showcase incredible works of art, and honestly, it’s a feast for the eyes.
Being the largest contemporary art fair in the world, you just know you’re going to see something unforgettable. So, when I heard that The Great Elephant Migration was coming to Miami Beach, I couldn’t wait to photograph one of my amazing clients there.
We decided on a sunrise session—not just to avoid the crowds but to soak in that stunning early-morning light. And wow, it didn’t disappoint. Surrounded by these larger-than-life wooden elephants, it felt like we were stepping into something truly magical. Even though the elephants are sculptures, the energy of the exhibit was so alive—it was the perfect backdrop.
This session wouldn’t have been the same without my incredible clients, who trusted me with this wild idea and brought their own energy to the shoot. Pairing that with the beauty of The Great Elephant Migration made for something truly unforgettable.
