This Miami Beach wedding, hosted at the iconic The Palms Hotel & Spa, exudes quintessential elegance!
Jordan and Matt traveled from New York City to celebrate their wedding in Miami Beach. They envisioned a garden aesthetic for their ceremony and chose an indoor reception to avoid the heat and potential rain.
One of my favorite aspects of this wedding was the inclusion of their dog, Yogi, in the getting ready process, the ceremony, and the wedding party photos! This could be a great inspiration for couples considering having their pets at their wedding.

Flat-Lays and Details:
Photographing the details was very important to Jordan, so we ensured the timeline allowed plenty of time to style all the items that were meaningful to her. She even brought along little props like a ring box, jewelry dish, and wax seal stamp. The flowers were delivered in advance by the florist, making the flat-lay shots even more special.

Getting Ready:
Both Jordan and Matt got ready at The Palms Hotel. Each party had suites with balconies overlooking the ocean, providing the perfect setting and lighting for photos.
Tip for couples planning a wedding: Consider your “getting ready” location carefully. A conference room is not ideal for photos or privacy.

A Garden Ceremony:
The couple chose to get married at the gazebo in the garden. The space was adorned with hundreds of beautiful white flowers, creating a sophisticated and romantic atmosphere. One of my favorite moments was when Yogi, their dog, walked down the aisle.

Romantic Photos Around The Hotel & Wedding Party:
Jordan and Matt opted not to have a first look, but romantic photos, wedding party photos, and family formals were very important to them. Understanding the time needed for these photos and their desire not to feel rushed, they extended their cocktail hour by 30 minutes. This created a relaxed timeline that allowed us to capture everything without pressure.

Wedding Decor & Celebration:
The wedding’s aesthetics featured a classic black-and-white theme with a modern twist on the menus and table signs. A fantastic band kept the guests dancing all night, and Jordan even changed into a party dress to join in the fun!
