Natalia and her family invited me to Toronto to photograph several family activities they had during the week. This was our last session and I am in love with these images! Natalia, you and your family are THE BEST!
I started this session by photographing the whole family first. That way, I could take advantage of the high energy that Esteban and Isabella had and how excited they were to being photograph.
If you have worked with kids before, you know that they can get tired really fast so I get those family shots first and then I moved to the individual photos. Keep reading as I have a very practical tip for photographers to have a successful family session.
Tips for photographers: Don’t force little kids into a pose, they don’t like it. Instead give them an action they can perform. For example: “What about if you give your mommy a huge hug and a kiss” then the kid doesn’t feel force and you get a natural emotion.
