Before we jump into the list of the top 10 best locations in Miami for family photos, it’s important to note that weekends tend to be busier. In reality, the optimal time for a family session is during the week.

Best Locations in Miami for Family Photos:
South Pointe Park
Located at 1 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139 this park has many options for your family photos. It has nice gardens, access to the beach, a cool playground, and even a popsicle stand to get some snacks if needed.
One of the advantages of this park is its safety—only pedestrians are allowed, ensuring a secure environment for your family, especially if you have a running toddler. However, it’s worth noting that the park tends to get quite busy. To make the most of your photoshoot, I recommend scheduling a morning session.
Miami Design District
Centrally located with convenient access from I-95, this sleek neighborhood is filled with beautiful buildings, chic parking lots (not only easy to find a spot but also great for photos), and charming nooks.
This neighborhood can get really busy, and traffic can be heavy at times. This is particularly worth considering if you have young children in your family.
Key Biscayne Beaches
Located just a 30-minute drive from Miami Beach, Key Biscayne is a tranquil residential island with some gorgeous beaches and parks. One of my favorite things is that very few tourists go there, so the place is less crowded than Miami Beach, perfect for families that want to avoid crowds.
Matheson Hammock Park
Located at 9610 Old Cutler Rd, Coral Gables, FL 33156 this park has the most stunning trees in Miami. The park has gorgeous scenery; however, some families may find it somewhat repetitive. This park is really busy on the weekends, so a week session is advised.
Vizcaya Museum & Gardens
Located at 3251 South Miami Ave. Miami Fl. 33129 Vizcaya Museum & Gardens has some of the most stunning European-style gardens in South Florida. This is the perfect location for families looking to have a unique photo session.

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden
Located at 10901 Old Cutler Road Miami, Fl 33156 right in the heart of Coral Gables this garden offers ample space for family photos. The garden is quite extensive, so make sure that you prepare accordingly, as you and your family will be expected to do some walking to find the perfect spots for family photos.

Deering Estate
Located at 16701 SW 72nd Ave, Miami, FL 33157 this gorgeous estate has some of the best bay views in Miami. In addition to the picturesque house, Deeting Estate has some gorgeous gardens.

Tree Tops Park
Located at 3900 SW 100th Ave, Davie, FL 33328 this park is a 45-minute drive from Miami Beach, but worth the trip. The park has some stunning trees that make you think you are no longer in Florida.
During the summer months, there are a lot of mosquitos, making a visit a bit uncomfortable, so I recommend this location from November to May.
Little River Studios
This amazing photo studio located in the heart of Miami is the perfect location for families that want both indoor and outdoor options. The studios have several sets making this location a dream to photograph your family.
